    Herein, the chemistries of the binary Li 3 NP 2 S 5 solid electrolytes, produced by ball milling, are studied in detail and reaction mechanisms are proposed. We show that less nitrogen is present in Li 3 NP 2 S 5 solid electrolytes after ball milling than is expected due to the evolution of N 2 during the early stages of milling.
